Catfé Montclair
Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially on weekends, as walk-in availability is limited. While walk-ins are always welcome when space permits, entry cannot be guaranteed without a reservation.
Nestled in the heart of Montclair, New Jersey, Catfé Montclair is a cozy, cat-filled lounge where community, relaxation, and the joy of adoption come together. We're not a traditional café, our mission is to help rescue cats find loving forever homes by providing them with a safe, enriching environment where they can socialize and connect with potential adopters.
Every admission helps support the daily care, enrichment, and well-being of our rescue cats while giving them the opportunity to meet potential adopters.
During your visit, enjoy a complimentary beverage from our self-serve drink station featuring coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. If you're craving a full café experience, you'll find plenty of wonderful local coffee shops and restaurants just steps away.
Children ages 7 and older are welcome during designated visit times. We also offer monthly Family Cat Time sessions for children ages 5 and older, providing younger cat lovers with a fun, age-appropriate opportunity to visit.
To help keep our cats healthy and comfortable, shoes are not permitted inside the cat lounge. All guests must wear clean socks. Forgot yours? Cat-themed socks are available for purchase at the Catfé.
