We truly appreciate everyone who wants to help rescue cats in need.

At Catfé Montclair, the cats you meet in our Cat Lounge are already in a foster-based program. The Catfé itself serves as their foster home, providing stability, socialization, and daily care while they wait for adoption.

Important to Know

• Cats currently living at the Catfé are not available for fostering

• They remain in the Catfé until adopted to ensure consistency and minimize stress

• Fostering opportunities are coordinated directly through our rescue partner, Homeless Tails Cat Rescue

Interested in Fostering Through Homeless Tails?

All foster placements are managed by Homeless Tails Cat Rescue.

To be considered:

• You must complete a Homeless Tails foster application

• Approval and placement decisions are made by the rescue

• Foster cats may be placed in private homes based on the rescue’s needs and matching process
