Catfé Montclair stands as a vibrant culmination of our deepest passions. It's a sanctuary where kindred spirits and feline enthusiasts gather to forge meaningful connections with our rescued cats. Each cat here has a unique story, and by visiting you will help them socialize and heal. We wholeheartedly believe in the therapeutic power of the bond between humans and our feline companions, and the boundless joy that cats bring into our lives. 

 

We would love for you to come and experience the cozy and heartwarming atmosphere of Catfé Montclair. While you're here, feel free to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate which is included with your admission fee. Reservations are required for entry into the Cat Lounge. Our community is devoted to celebrating the unique bond between humans and cats. Keep an eye out for upcoming special events like yoga, meditation, paint nite, sound bowl healing, and more, all with the cats! 


HOUSE RULES

At Catfé Montclair, we believe in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Our cat cafe is a place where people can come to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, enjoy a hot beverage, and spend time with our friendly cats. We are committed to ensuring that both our cats and guests feel comfortable and respected, and we have a strict code of conduct when it comes to interacting with our furry friends.

1. Please remove your shoes before entering the cat lounge. BRING SOCKS or you can purchase at the Catfé. 
2. Bringing your own pets to the Catfé is not allowed. 

3. Sanitize your hands before and after interacting with the cats.
4. Always respect our cats. You can pet them while they're sleeping but please don’t wake them up and never pick them up or chase them. 

5. Do not use flash photography.
6. Do not feed the cats human food, only cat treats that we provide.

7. Adhere to time limits. Be mindful of others waiting their turn.

8. Please keep your voice down and turn off your phone's ringer. Please do not video chat or talk on your phone in the cat lounge. 

9. Parents: please be mindful of other visitors. Please explain the rules to your children before entering the cat area. Emphasize the importance of following guidelines for the safety and well-being of both the cats and other visitors. ​

10. If you fail to follow these rules you will be asked to leave without a refund. 

11. Relax and have a great time!

Reservation Policy

 RESERVATIONS:

  • Reservations are required to enter the Cat Lounge.

  • You must purchase one ticket per person prior to arriving. We are typically at capacity and cannot accommodate extra guests beyond those registered.

GROUP SIZE:

  • We only allow reservations for up to 5 people. If you have a group larger than 5, you are REQUIRED to book a Private Experience by emailing us at meow@catfemontclair.com.

  • If you book a reservation for more than 5 people you will not be allowed to enter the Catfé and you will not receive a refund.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must be at least 7 years old to visit the Catfé. Children aged 7-11 must be accompanied by a paying adult and are restricted to 30-minute time slots. 

  • Children ages 12+ may visit the Catfé without an adult but their guardian needs to sign their waiver prior to arrival.

WAIVERS:

  • Each person must sign a waiver before entering. The waiver can be found in the header of our website. There is an adult waiver and Minor Waiver.

ARRIVAL & PARKING:

  • Allow time for drive time, traffic, and finding parking. We suggest arriving a few minutes early to park, sign waivers, and enjoy a complimentary hot beverage.

TIMELINESS:

  • We have a very tight schedule and cannot extend or reschedule your visit for being late. No rescheduling or refunds will be given for tardiness.

SPACE LIMITATIONS:

  • If the system does not allow multiple guests, there isn’t enough space for your party. Please choose another time or date.

ACCESSIBILITY:

  • Please note that we are located on the second floor and walking up a flight of stairs is required.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY:

  • 24 Hours or More Before Reservation Time: Reservations may be rescheduled. Refunds will be issued minus a 4% processing fee. Please email us at meow@catfemontclair.com to reschedule your reservation. 

  • Cancellations Within 24 hours of Reservation Time: Reservations may not be rescheduled. Refunds will not be issued. 

  • No-Shows: Cannot be Rescheduled or Refunded

  • There is a 4% processing fee on all refunds.
