Catfé Montclair is a cozy, cat-filled lounge dedicated to cat adoption and providing a calm, enriching environment for our rescue cats. Every visit supports their socialization, confidence, and journey toward loving forever homes.

Reservations Required

To ensure a peaceful, safe experience for both guests and cats, reservations are required to guarantee entry to the Cat Lounge.

Walk-ins cannot always be accommodated, especially on weekends and during busy hours. We encourage all visitors to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

During your visit, relax with a complimentary coffee, tea, or hot chocolate while spending meaningful time with our adoptable cats in a warm, welcoming space.

House Rules 🧦🐱

To keep the Cat Lounge safe, calm, and enjoyable for everyone — especially the cats — please follow these guidelines:

Shoes off, socks on (socks available for purchase)
No outside pets
Sanitize hands before and after interacting with cats
Respect the cats — do not wake, chase, or pick them up
No flash photography
Catfé-approved treats only
Please adhere to your scheduled visit time
Quiet voices; no phone or video calls
Children must follow all rules
Failure to follow rules may result in removal without refund

Reservation Policy

PLEASE READ:

Important: By completing a booking, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below. These policies allow us to care for our rescue cats, staff our small space appropriately, and offer a calm, safe experience for all guests.

Because our space has limited capacity, last-minute cancellations prevent other guests from booking and directly impact staffing and cat care.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Important – Same-Day Bookings

Reservations booked on the same day as the visit are final.
Same-day bookings are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled under any circumstances, including accidental or mistaken bookings.

Standard Cat Lounge Reservations

24 hours or more before your scheduled visit:
Reservations may be rescheduled or refunded minus a 4% processing fee.
Within 24 hours of your scheduled visit:
Reservations cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
No-shows:
Reservations cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Events (Yoga, Bingo, Mommy/Daddy & Me, & Other Special Ticketed Events)

Events are non-refundable.
With 48 hours’ notice or more, event tickets may be rescheduled to another event, subject to availability.
If the new event is lower in price:
No refund or credit will be issued for the price difference.
If the new event is higher in price:
An invoice will be sent for the difference, and the balance must be paid to confirm the change.
Within 48 hours of the event:
Events cannot be rescheduled.
Same-day event bookings are final.
Late arrivals or missed events cannot be refunded or credited

Private Events / Private Parties

Private events require a minimum of 7 days’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance may receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit and a 4% processing fee.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
A deposit is required to reserve all private events and is non-refundable.

Timeliness (IMPORTANT)

Guests must arrive on time for their scheduled session.
Late arrivals cannot be accommodated beyond their scheduled time.
Visits cannot be extended or rescheduled due to lateness.

Age Requirements

Unless otherwise noted, guests must be at least 7 years old to enter the Cat Lounge.

Waivers

All guests must have a signed waiver on file prior to entry.
Adult and Minor waivers are available on our website and are also sent by email after booking.

Additional Notes

Accidental, mistaken, or duplicate bookings are subject to the same policies listed above.
Requests for exceptions cannot be accommodated.

Arrival & Parking

Please allow extra time for traffic and parking.
Arriving early helps ensure a smooth check-in and allows time to enjoy a complimentary hot beverage before your session.

Space Limitations

If the booking system does not allow additional guests, there is not enough space for your party.
Please select another time or date.

Accessibility

The Catfé is located on the second floor, and access requires walking up one flight of stairs.
