Join us for a special evening with our beloved volunteer, Jill Rosenberg, celebrating the release of her award-winning short story collection, Now I'm Photogenic and Other Stories I Tell Myself. There will be a short reading, followed by a discussion of creativity and the role cats can play in the process. Jill is a Montclair-based fiction writer and creative writing instructor whose work has appeared in numerous literary journals. Her debut collection won the prestigious St. Lawrence Book Award and was published in 2026. Your admission includes: 📖 A signed copy of Jill's book 🍷 A glass of wine 🐱 Time with our adoptable cats A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Catfé cats. Come meet Jill, enjoy great conversation, and support rescue cats while celebrating a local author and cherished member of our Catfé family. 💕🐾📚🍷 Bio: Jill Rosenberg is a graduate of Vassar College and the MFA Program at the University of Montana. Her fiction has been published by the Kenyon Review, swamp pink, Black Warrior Review, and other journals. Her collections of stories, Not I'm Photogenic and Other Stories I Tell Myself (https://blacklawrencepress.com/authors/jill-rosenberg/), won the St. Lawrence Book Prize. She currently writes and teaches in Montclair, New Jersey, where she also works with rescued cats and practices practicing Buddhism.
