Literary Happy Hour with Cats and Marcy Dermansky! Join us on September 25th at 6:30PM for our second Literary Happy Hour with Cats! We are so excited to feature acclaimed Montclair fiction writer, Marcy Dermansky, who will read from her most recent novel, Hot Air, now out in paperback. After the reading, Marcy will talk with fellow fiction writer and Catfe volunteer Jill Rosenberg about writing, cats, and creativity. More about Marcy: Marcy Dermansky has two cats. She is sometimes tempted to get more cats. She is the author of the novels Hot Air, Hurricane Girl, Very Nice, The Red Car, Bad Marie, and Twins. She lives in Montclair with her daughter. Your admission includes a glass of wine, time with our adorable, adoptable cats, and, if you’re lucky, an original Marcy Dermansky miniature cat painting! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Catfé cats. Come meet Marcy, enjoy great conversation, and support rescue cats while celebrating a local author. 💕🐾📚🍷

ARRIVAL & REFUND POLICY Appointments begin at the scheduled time. Entry is permitted at the scheduled appointment time. With 24 hours’ notice or more, reservations may be rescheduled or refunded (minus 4% fee). Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for refunds, rescheduling, transfers, or credits. Failure to attend or remain for the scheduled appointment constitutes a customer decision not to participate and does not qualify for a refund. Event reservations are non-refundable (24+ hours notice allows rescheduling only). Private experiences require a deposit and follow separate written cancellation terms.
